1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using this blood donation location tracking application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
The App is a live location-based platform designed to connect blood donors with individuals in need of blood donations. The service operates with three location tracking modes:
- Regular Mode: Location updated every 15 minutes
- Active Mode: Location updated every 60 seconds when app is open
- Live Donation Mode: Location updated every 15 seconds during active donation processes
The App operates 24/7 to facilitate emergency blood donation requests and donor matching.
3. Eligibility
To register and use the App, you must:
- Be between 18 and 65 years of age
- Provide accurate registration information
- Have the legal right to use the mobile device on which the App is installed
You are solely responsible for determining your medical eligibility to donate blood. Consult with healthcare professionals before donating.
4. Location Tracking and Privacy
4.1 Consent to Location Tracking
By using the App, you explicitly consent to:
- Continuous location tracking while the App is active
- Real-time location sharing with potential recipients during donation processes
- Storage and processing of your location data on our servers
- Location tracking in the background when the App is running
4.2 Location Data Usage
Your location data will be used to:
- Match you with nearby blood donation requests
- Enable recipients to locate you during donation coordination
- Improve service efficiency and response times
- Analyze geographic coverage and service optimization
5. Medical Disclaimers
The App DOES NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All blood donations must occur through proper medical channels with qualified healthcare professionals.
We are not responsible for:
- Medical complications arising from blood donation or transfusion
- Quality, safety, or compatibility of donated blood
- Medical screening or testing of donors or blood
- Coordination of actual medical procedures
Always ensure blood is collected, tested, and administered by licensed medical professionals.
6. Safety and Security
When meeting to donate blood:
- Meet in safe, public locations or medical facilities
- Inform friends or family of your plans
- Verify the identity of the person you’re meeting
- Trust your instincts and do not proceed if you feel unsafe
- Report any concerning behavior through the Email
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We provide the App “AS IS” without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for medical complications, injuries, or health issues
- We are not liable for user conduct or interactions between users
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (currently $0)
